Cartier Women's Initative - Science & Technology Pioneer Award

This award is dedicated to recognising the impact of women entrepreneurs at the forefront of scientific and technological innovation. Open to women entrepreneurs from any country and sector, this award will highlight disruptive solutions built around unique, protected, or hard-to-reproduce technological or scientific advances that require heavy R&D, a long commercialization cycle, high capital intensity, technology risk, and complexity.
Falling Walls Lab Australia applications open

Falling Walls Lab Australia invites twenty postdocs, students, entrepreneurs, engineers and innovators to tell a jury about their research or business idea. The winner will advance to the Falling Walls Finale in Berlin. The aim is to discover ‘which walls will fall next?’ Applications close 6 July 2020.

In recognition of the important role of innovation to Victoria’s economic future and the need for Victorians to be skilled in science, technology, engineering and mathematics the Victorian Government is proud to support the Victoria Fellowship program.
Each Fellow receives a travel grant of up to $18,000 to undertake a short-term overseas study mission to assist in developing a commercial idea; undertaking specialist training; or career development not available in Australia.
Victoria Prize fo Science and Innovation

The Victoria Prize for Science and Innovation celebrates leadership, determination and creativity. It also highlights the many ways in which research and development of international significance are conducted in Victoria.
The Victoria Prize for Science and Innovation is worth $50,000 per prize and will be awarded to a Victorian Scientist, Innovator, Entrepreneur and Researcher in the Life and Physical Sciences.

The veski inspiring women STEM sidebyside program is an initiative to support women in the STEM industries that is led by veski with the support of the British Consulate General Melbourne. This dynamic program is designed to empower women at different career stages with the skills, networks and mindset to develop and achieve their career goals within STEM industries.
