Biography

I am a biologist that wants to understand why animals look and behave the way they do. Examples of my research include trying explain the enormous diversity in how parents care for their young, what are the costs and benefits of mating with attractive males, how environmental change influences the way animals interact with each other and how the risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases affects sexual behaviour. I am passionate about understanding and conserving biodiversity both on land and below the water.
