Biography

I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Queensland in the School of Psychology. In my present work, I investigate attention shifts induced by visual social cues and test mechanistic explanations of how those shifts are affected by normal adult ageing. I am particularly interested in social perceptual decision making, social attention, and cognitive ageing. I have completed or am currently completing work investigating empathic capacities and empathic decision making, basic social-perceptual processing, and associations between autistic traits and social cognition across the lifespan.
