Biography

Celeste is an early-in-career Electronic and Biomedical Engineer with a passion for helping those in need. Her Honours research, conducted with the Gold Coast University Hospital’s Critical Care Unit, was recognised by IEEE QLD with the award for Best Student Thesis in Signal Processing.

Through a multitude of roles, Celeste dedicates much of her time to promoting STEM engagement and fostering an inclusive engineering profession for all. A highlight of her work as a Science Communicator, was having the opportunity to share her knowledge with hundreds of festival goers at Splendour in the Grass. Celeste’s academic results and commitment to STEM education were rewarded with the Engineers Australia-Philip Jones scholarship.

Now as a Specialty Systems Engineer at Boeing, she remains active in the STEM and professional community as a STEM ambassador for Boeing.
