STEM Women Café conversations: mentoring

Our May series of Café meetups will focus on the theme of mentoring, exploring ways we can both support others and be supported in our work.

We will again be hosting three 1-hour sessions, this time each one will feature a different special guest interview to frame our discussions.

Session 1: 24 May from 2pm - 3pm AEST | Register

Dr Marguerite Evans-Galea AM will join us to talk about the Industry Mentoring Network in STEM (IMNIS), and their work in connecting early career researchers with industry mentors.

Session 2: 25 May from 11.30am - 12.30pm AEST | Register

Dr Jenine Beekhuyzen OAM will join us to talk about the Tech Girls Movement Foundation, and their work to get girls interested and engaged in STEM by connecting students, coaches and mentors in participatory programs.

Session 3: 27 May from 11.30am - 12.30pm AEST | Register

Dr Melina Georgousakis will join us to talk about her work with Franklin Women, supporting women working in the health and medical research ecosystem.

As with previous Café sessions, you'll also have the chance to chat with other participants in small group discussion mode. To join us for any (or all!) of these sessions, please click on the relevant 'register' link - this will take you directly to the Zoom registration area for each session.

We look forward to seeing you online!
