Biography

I am a Level A Academic postdoctoral researcher in the Clear Vision Research group at the Australian National University’s Eccles Institute of Neuroscience - John Curtin School of Medical Research, where I also completed my PhD. I am originally from New Zealand and completed my undergraduate and honours degrees at the University of Auckland in the Dept of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I have strong research interests in the fields of innate immunity and the role of extracellular vesicles in health and disease. My ultimate research goals are to work within these fields helping to better understand, and develop targeted therapeutics for neurodegenerative diseases.

Outside of my research life I am a mother to 3 young children and enjoy ice skating and chess.
