Biography

I am a Cancer Institute NSW Early Career Fellow at The Daffodil Centre, The University of Sydney. My research began in breast imaging and have since transitioned to population health and real-world breast screening studies, with a strong focus on health equity and understudied populations. My career aspiration is to become a world-leading breast cancer researcher, with dedicated and in-depth expertise in cancer screening, population health, and breast imaging, ensuring the optimisation of early detection of breast cancer through high-quality, policy-relevant evidence. I will leverage my strong foundation of research excellence, established research partnerships, growing leadership, and robust commitment to breast cancer research to accelerate my trajectory as an independent researcher and emerging leader dedicated to reducing inequities in cancer screening, to improve cancer outcomes for all women, including understudied and underserved populations. My global standing is reflected in Expertscape rankings (top 0.5% in Mammography; 1.8% in Breast Density) and my 2025 nomination to full membership of the prestigious Scientific Research Honour Society, Sigma Xi.
