Biography

Simone O’Brien has been in the childcare industry for 14 years and owns Treasured Tots Early Education, a leading childcare provider in Perth, Western Australia.

Treasured Tots has seven childcare centres in Mandurah, Bibra Lake, Piara Waters, Hamersley, Fremantle, Bennett Springs and Bicton and under Simone’s expert leadership, they have established a strong reputation as the benchmark for quality early education in Perth. 

Simone was only 22 when she opened her first early education centre in Melville in 2011.  She had completed her Diploma in Children’s Services and had been working in early education for several years when she spotted a gap in the market for a quality childcare option which offered families a ‘home away from home’.   

It wasn’t long before demand outstripped supply at the centre.  There was a long waiting list and a constant flow of enquiries from families wanting a clean, welcoming, safe and loving environment for their children.  This surging demand prompted Simone to establish Treasured Tots Early Education and expand the business.

Simone undertook extensive research before deciding on new locations for her centres and the company now has seven highly successful operations in Fremantle, Mandurah, Bibra Lake, Piara Waters, Hamersley, Bennett Springs & Bicton.  Simone’s husband has also joined her in the business.

Driven by Simone’s passion for the industry and her unwavering commitment to delivering the best quality childcare, the centres have gained a strong reputation for excellence and are highly sought-after by parents wanting the best early education for their young families.

She credits the success to hard work, a willingness to learn and their ‘never give up’ attitude!

Simone is a member of the Australian Child Care Alliance (ACA), a not-for-profit, member-funded organisation which advocates for the future of Australia’s children.  She understands the crucial importance of quality early education as a foundation for the future development of children and she is deeply committed to delivering the highest standards of care, nurturing support and teaching at each of her five Treasured Tots childcare centres.
