Biography

Hi! My name is Sarah and I am currently pursuing my PhD at the John Curtin School of Medical Research. My research is a mix of basic and translational science focusing on small blood cells called platelets.

I am heavily involved in the National Platelet Research and Referral Centre which investigates a range of platelet disorders and I have volunteered for science outreach initiatives such as Pint of Science and World Thrombosis Day. I have a keen interest in science communication and outreach and plan to expand these skills throughout my PhD experience.

You can find more information about me on LinkedIn and Twitter.
