Biography
Dr Rhea Longley is a postdoctoral immunologist at the Walter & Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research in Melbourne, Australia. Her current research is on the immune response to the malaria parasite Plasmodium vivax, and how this can be used to eliminate malaria from the Asia Pacific region. She has experience in many aspects of malaria research, from vaccine design and pre-clinical testing to field immuno-epidemiology studies.
