Biography

I completed my PhD in 2019 at The University of Western Australia on the microbiome of ear infections in children. I am excited by persistent microbes in unusual places. Now a postdoctoral fellow at Monash University, I am exploring microbial communities in informal settlements, the desert, the ocean and the aerosphere and am very interested in delving into extreme microbiology and astrobiology.
