Biography
I am a proud Noongar Yamatji woman, and I strive to be an outstanding community member, scientist, and researcher. I hold a Bachelor of Biomedical & Forensic Science obtained 2022. I have endeavours to undertake a Master & PhD by research with Indigenous Communities, through co-design, co-production, co-implementation, and co-evaluation. This is an endeavour to do my part for my Mob to Close the Gap in health.
My goal is to be an inspirational leader to all women, a strong advocate for the tough conversations on disruptive thinking, and challenge non-functioning systems.
All this achieved with my unique mind for cross-cultural awareness, strong leadership style, integrity, and hard work through a complex cultural lens with a scope beyond many.
I am an early career mixed-methods social researcher with two years of experience in assisting on and designing research that seeks to understand how to improve access to and understanding about vaccination, infectious disease and epidemiology, particularly in the Aboriginal space. I am formally trained in Biomedical and Forensic Sciences.
Paige identifies as aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse.
