Biography

Professor Nicole Bell is an experienced theoretical physicist at the University of Melbourne.

Her research lies at the interface of elementary particle physics, astrophysics and cosmology, with particular expertise in the areas of dark matter and neutrino physics.

She is directs the Dark Matter Theory Program of the ARC Centre of Excellence for Dark Matter Particle Physics. She is also the current President of the Australian Institute of Physics.

Professor Bell was awarded the 2020 Nancy Millis Medal by the Australian Academy of Science for her research on dark matter. She is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and the Australian Institute of Physics.
