Biography

I am passionate about scientific communication, community engagement and evidence-informed public health interventions. I manage the Australian Partnership for Preparedness Research on Infectious diseaSe Emergencies (APPRISE), providing strategic support to a cross-disciplinary research team working to improve the research response to outbreaks. I have a background in laboratory research, with a PhD and postdoctoral experience in basic and clinical HIV research. I also write for the website hivcure.com.au and participate in the Australian HIV Cure Community Partnership.
