Melanie is the Manager, Natural Capital and Carbon Analytics, at New Forests, a company which invests in forests, for land-owners and investors working to improve their forests while also earning carbon credits. She is part of the Superstars of STEM cohort, 2023-2024, was awarded 2022 Women in AI: Agribusiness, for soil carbon modelling using Machine Learning, as well as 2019 Scopus Researcher: Sustainability, for her research in the impacts of climate change, and policy solutions.
