Biography

I graduated with a Master in Science (Molecular Neurobiochemistry) at the Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany. Following from here, I completed my PhD in Neuropharmacology at the University of Sydney. I gained further experience in the field of ion channel and receptor function by working as a Postdoctdoral Research Associate at Macquarie University. In April 2017, I  joined the Lambert Initiative for Cannabinoid Therapeutics to establish the Cellular Pharmacology laboratory. My work spans across a range of projects with a particular focus on the discovery of novel cannabinoids for the treatments of childhood epilepsy.
