Biography

Our research is focused on the development of novel chemical probes and small molecule drugs targeting G protein-coupled receptors and other protein targets. We are interested in improving our understanding of molecular mechanisms underlying diseases and drug interactions. We have a particular interest in the design and development of novel PROTACs, covalent and fluorescent probes to study novel concepts in drug discovery. Additionally, we are investigating the development of improved probes for phenotypic screening and DNA-encoded libraries. We combine organic and medicinal chemistry with molecular modelling, pharmacology and structural biology methods. Accordingly, our work is performed in a highly collaborative environment at the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine.
