Biography

Research focuses on island arc and ophiolitic rocks from the Ladakh Himalaya, NW India to investigate mountain building and collisional processes. Experienced in petrographic, geochemical and geochronological methods to describe and interpret igneous and sedimentary rocks. Intrigued about the geology and evolution of ancient orogens. Equally interested in public outreach and engagement to increase the awareness of geoscience in the general community. Passionate about promoting gender equity and inclusive behaviours in the workplace.
