Biography

Jacqueline is a criminologist and Head of Global Research for the Walk Free Foundation, with a technical role on the quantitative program. Jacqueline holds Bachelor’s degrees in Arts and Psychology, and a Masters in Criminal Justice. During an 18 year career in research, Jacqueline has focused on social justice and human rights issues, with a particular interest in using statistics to unpack the causes of crime, understand vulnerability and resilience, and to use that information to drive policy change. Prior to joining Walk Free, Jacqueline led research on human trafficking, race and crime, violent extremism, and deaths in custody at the Australian Institute of Criminology.
