I am Fariha Tasmin Jaigirdar from Bangladesh. I joined Monash University as a Ph.D. scholar in November 2017 in the Dept. of Software Systems and Cybersecurity, Faculty of Information Technology. My research project is entitled "Provenance for secure propagation of IoT Data" under the supervision of Associate Professor Carsten Rudolph and Professor Chris Bain. I have completed Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Computer Science & Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) and Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) respectively.

I was involved in the teaching and research industry in Bangladesh for around 10 years. I am also working as a Teaching Associate in the Faculty of IT, Monash University, Australia. Currently, I am nominated to work as a student representative for the Graduate Research Committee in the Dept. of Software Systems & Cybersecurity, Faculty of IT, Monash University and working as a representative and convenor for FIT Women Graduate Researcher in IT Network (WGRiITN).

I have awarded various scholarships and research funding during my Ph.D. Journey. With my academic excellence and leadership ability, I aim to create a significant impact in the Cybersecurity research and industry sector in near future.
