Biography

Dhanya completed her PhD in 2017 and leads the Behaviours of Concern stream within the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Pre-hospital Emergency Care: Australia and New Zealand. She in interested in the management of acute mental health and substance use disorders, and passionate about engaging with community services and addressing social issues such as homelessness and isolation. She enjoys sharing ideas and creating opportunities for collaboration, and is interested in learning about the role of social media and technology in research and translation. Dhanya also believes in maintaining a work-life balance and wholistic health in order to achieve her goals.


Dhanya identifies as culturally and linguistically diverse.
