Biography

Claire Krause is an earth observations scientist working in Digital Earth Australia; Geoscience Australia's satellite imagery program. She is responsible for working with stakeholders to come up with new ideas for how to use our wealth of satellite information to better inform decision makers on Australia's natural resources. Claire spends her days coding new workflows to analyse the ~30 years of satellite data held by Geoscience Australia to better understand where water is in the landscape. Claire is a passionate science communicator who loves to share her work with professionals through to school students and anyone in between.
