Biography
I am an aspiring structural biologist, currently undertaking my PhD in chemistry. I completed my BSc. (Hons) at the Australian National University and i'm now investigating new potential drugs for chemotherapy resistance. I am working to understand the structural basis of how different molecules bind to a hallmark cancer protein, and with this knowledge, hopefully design new potential drugs to use alongside current therapies for cancer treatment.
I have a keen interest for science communication and have participated in numerous workshops designed to help bridge the gap between science and the public.
I have also been involved in many outreach and engagement programs, through teaching high school students, to mentoring rural students and female refugees. I believe it is never too late to be inspired to have a love for science.
