Biography

Bianca is a soil scientist and agricultural systems modeller. She believes in creating a healthy planet that nourishes all who live on it. Her work involves creating win-win situations for farmers and the environment around the world. Bianca’s PhD is finding ways to improve phosphorus efficiency in Australian and African cropping systems under a changing climate with the University of Queensland and CSIRO Australia. Recently, Bianca was selected for the Homeward Bound Leadership Programme for her passion in improving science communication. The programme aims to heighten the impact of women in making decisions that shape our planet and finishes with three weeks of intensive leadership training in Antarctica along with 100 other women in STEMM (science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine).
