Biography

I am a digital health researcher and consultant with a strong background in health promotion and community development. As a Director at Reach Health Promotion Innovations I work with public health service providers, universities and research institutes to create, plan, develop and evaluation mobile health apps. I am particularly passionate about user-centred design practices, evaluation and user engagement.

I have worked in health promotion and community development roles for 15 years and throughout my career I have been interested in how we can reach people with health promotion interventions in ways that are appropriate, equitable and of least burden for the participant. In 2018 I was awarded my PhD looking at the development, trialling and evaluation of a mobile app for health behaviour change. I am committed to working towards advancing the evidence in this area continuing to be involved in research across a number of health areas and supporting and mentoring others.
