Biography

Dr Azadeh Mirabedini is currently a postdoctoral research fellow within the Smart Composite Group at the Swinburne University of Technology. She previously majored in polymer engineering and coatings at from the Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), through her undergraduate (BSc). After undertaking a number of projects as a research assistant as well as tutoring several courses at the university, she then commenced her master's studies at Iran Polymer and Petrochemical Institute (IPPI). She then joined Prof Gordon Wallace's group at the University of Wollongong in 2012, New South Wales, to complete her PhD under the supervision of Prof Gordon Wallace. Azadeh's research interests include Smart Composite Materials, Biomedical Engineering, Nano/micro hierarchical Structures, Device Fabrication and Graphene Materials.
