Biography

First and foremost, I am a science communicator- passionate about keeping up to date with the latest breakthroughs in biomedical research and translating jargon-heavy, complex and technical information into language that can be understood by all.

I have a PhD in cancer cell biology and a Masters in Global Media Communications, making me well placed to not only understand the nuances of biotechnology, biomedical and pharmaceutical research and their respective industries, but also to consider the ethical and societal implications of novel discoveries.

With science communications being a vital link between the seemingly disparate worlds of scientific research and the broader community, I feel it is important to encourage and foster responsible and measured engagement surrounding important topics that will impact the future.
