Biography

I am passionate about raising awareness and understanding of anthropogenic contamination (trace metals, naturally occurring radioactive materials) in regards to the availability, biokinetics and toxic effects on wildlife. I incorporate the fields of chemistry, toxicology and ecology to address toxicological effects of radioisotopes on Australian marine fauna, but also terrestrial mammals. My interests lie in forming strong relationships with the oil and gas industry to communicate the crucial importance of environmental and ecological management and protection of Australian fauna.
