I am an Engineering PhD candidate at the University of Queensland investigating the role of seagrass in coastal defence. My research is focused upon ecosystem engineering with the aim of quantifying ecosystem services provided by marine environments. My goal is to establish a more comprehensive understanding of the beneficial opportunities provided by marine ecosystems such as nature-based coastal defence.

I am an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy passionate about supporting learning and engaging students through creative learning activities to enhance both their academic and professional career.
