Biography
As a young mother I experienced homelessness and poverty that left me with an abiding questions about women's relationship to housing. Throughout my career, researching, teaching and learning within university and TAFE settings, I have tried to reconcile female embodiment and a sense of self determination in built environments. Long-term research involved looking at female embodiment and self-build housing, women's experience of construction training and development of a new conceptual framework within which to place those activities.
Caroline identifies as culturally and linguistically diverse,having a disability and lgbtqia+.
